Wyoming Recognized as Least-Taxed State
Friday, April 10th, 2009In an article posted this week on MSN Money, Wyoming was recognized as the least-taxed state in the US. This ranking takes into account income, sales, property, fuel, alcohol, tobacco, and other taxes that are required of it’s residents.
Author Scott McCredie explains that only $7 out of each $100 goes to the state in Wyoming while residents of New Jersey shell out $12 per $100. The average is about 10% nationally.
